Central Calcutta Society For Advancement of Human Development & Research organized and celebrated the 29th Foundation Day Symposium on Friday, 29th July 2022 at University College of Science (Rajabazar campus), the University of Calcutta in collaboration with the Department of Physiology, University of Calcutta, and Dr. Rajat Pal, Asst. Prof. & Head of our dept. was invited as a speaker. He delivered a talk on the topic entitled “Study of the efficacy of quercetin nanoparticles formulations against experimental diabetes”. Here are a few glimpses of his talk.

From the very beginning, even before the society was formally established, meetings and scientific seminars were held among the members on various aspects. A seminar was organized in March, 1993 at IICB with a number of invited speakers like Prof. J.J.Ghose, Prof. B K Bachhawat, Prof. Amar Bhaduri, Prof. P.K.Ray and Dr. N.N.Sarengi.

Annual General Meetings were held at diffrent places in an arround Kolkata like BTA, IICB, David Hare Training College, Mahatma Gandhi Lab. & House of Dr. Biswanath Mukherjee. After few years of moving arround with head office at Mahatma Gandhi Lab. we have finally procured our own premis!es of the society at 81, Baburam Ghosh Road, Tollygunge, Kolkata 700 040.

Inauguration of Society's premises on April 22, 2007 Prof. Maqsood Siddiqi, Prof. B. B. Biswas former Directors Bose Institute, Prof. Maharani Chakrabarti, Emmeritus Professor, inaugurated the premises. Prof. Chakrabarti delivered a talk on "Application of Biotechnology In Medical Research".

13th AGM held at the Society premises on 30th September 2007 Prof. B. B. Biswas Chaired the Scientific Session. Dr. Sudip Chatterjee, Prof. Vlvekanada Institute of Medical Sciences and Park Nursing Home and Dr. Satlnath Mukhopadhyay, Prof. IPGMER, Kolkata, delivered talk on Diabetes. A Governing body meeting was held during AGM.

Felicitation of Prof. K. L. Mukherjee by Association of Clinical Biochemists of India at Annual National Conference 2008 held at Vedic Village, Kolkata.
